The MICHELIN Guide Italy's relentless pursuit of culinary excellence never stops. Even in July, as reported on the Guide website, inspectors scoured the country, highlighting 15 new restaurants that enrich the already prestigious Italian selection.
In the north, Lombardy takes center stage with “DaV by Da Vittorio Louis Vuitton” and Don Carlos
In the beating heart of Milanese fashion, the opening of DaV by Da Vittorio Louis Vuitton (Milan) marks a meeting point between haute cuisine and luxury. The brainchild of the Cerea family, this elegant bistro, in collaboration with the prestigious Louis Vuitton brand, offers Italian cuisine with a modern twist, designed for a global clientele. The refined atmosphere and impeccable service promise an unforgettable experience.

Also in Lombardy, Cascina Moro in Locate di Triulzi offers a journey back in time in a skillfully renovated 18th-century farmhouse, where Mediterranean cuisine blends with Milanese traditions, accompanied by a well-stocked wine cellar.

In Monza, Silvestro stands out for the imaginative interpretations of chef-patron Francesco Silvestro, while on Lake Como, Visteria in Varenna and Amandus in Mandello del Lario enchant with breathtaking views and dishes that celebrate lake fish and more.

Finally, the Don Carlos in Milan, inside the Grand Hotel et de Milan, pays homage to Milanese and Italian cuisine, with a Mediterranean twist introduced by top chef Gennaro Esposito, in a setting steeped in history and dedicated to the world of opera.

Changing region, in Arona in Piedmont, the small but well-kept bistro Condividere offers delicious seasonal cuisine, with an appetizer of the same name that invites you to share local delicacies.

Liguria between sea and creativity
Liguria is enriched with two addresses not to be missed. In Rapallo, Il Salotto Atelier Gourmet elevates the offering of a classic hotel with seafood cuisine that highlights the freshness of the ingredients, aided by the panoramic view highlighted by large windows. Sestri Levante welcomes Le Cantine, a restaurant with a rustic and romantic atmosphere in a former wine cellar dating back to 1590, where meat cooked over olive wood and produce from the restaurant's own garden are the undisputed stars.

Flavor and History between Veneto and Tuscany
Veneto also stands out with Come in Corte Aurora in Teolo, where four siblings (two in the dining room and two in the kitchen) offer original and colorful cuisine with full and satisfying flavors, all in an Art Nouveau setting with a view of the hills. In Livorno, Tuscany, Nannini has established itself as one of the city's most interesting restaurants thanks to the young Nannini brothers, who serve almost exclusively fish in original dishes, with a particular focus on aged fish.

The charm of southern Italy
Campania offers two gems: in Torre del Greco, Taverna e' Mare enchants with a terrace offering a splendid view of the gulf and cuisine that celebrates the daily catch, with unmissable raw fish dishes. On the Amalfi Coast, in Praiano, Franchino, inside the Onda Verde hotel, promises exquisitely romantic evenings on its terrace overlooking the sea, with traditional dishes from the local seafood cuisine.

Sardinia welcomes Gli Uffici in Cagliari, where Apulian chef Tommaso Sanguedolce creates a hymn to Mediterranean flavors with an eye to “sins of gluttony,” such as the memorable Italian brioche. In Puglia, in Trani, Terradimare overlooks the romantic harbor basin and offers a predominantly seafood cuisine that combines excellent flavors and an elegant personality.
