Even a beach can be gourmet. At 7Pines Resort Sardinia in Baja Sardinia, there is more than just Capogiro fine dining. Guests who prefer to linger under the parasol can choose between a delivery menu à la carte and the casual Cone Club restaurant, where live music starts after the sunset. With great cocktails for non-residents as well.

Eating at Cone Club: the gastronomic proposal

There is not a moment to be lost for the gourmand who has rightly chosen the sea of Sardegna. Even as one lingers idly under a beach umbrella, between bathing, diving and snorkeling, the 7Pines Resort Sardinia in Baja Sardinia provides several options to have fun with fork and knife.

The Cone Club is much more than a beach club: the white beach dotted with pillow loungers and cabanas is beautiful in itself, but its offerings also include events, water sports, and various dining options, all under the supervision of executive chef Pasquale D'Ambrosio. It is open from 11 AM to 1 AM, from lunch to dinner, including aperitifs, which employ professional bartenders, creators of signature cocktails. And it is also accessible to non-residents, whether locals, guests of second homes, boats or other facilities, both by land and by sea, taking advantage of the private pier.

Those who prefer to linger on the chaise lounge can take advantage of the delivery service, ordering crudi (raw seafood), shrimp tacos, burrata and barbecued tomatoes or "sardinia burger" made with red ox, Sardinian Pecorino, bacon and eggplant jam, just to name a few. Those who want to sit at the table, however, have access to the outdoor restaurant, whose tables are topped with scenic sails, which open according to the sun and wind.

The sea takes center stage in the explosion of Mediterranean scents, from "spaghetti with bottarga" to barbecued octopus, from "spaghettone with clams, rosemary and lemon" to "Sardinian fregula with seafood ragu and crusco peppers". There's even a chance to choose your catch from the fish market, a nice display of fish, shellfish, Sardinian or French oysters and crustaceans, all local and very fresh, with scales and a price board to have fun as in a small market. It can be cooked to your liking, grilled, baked, Mediterranean style with cherry tomato and olive sauce. Compared to Capogiro, the processing is more straightforward, placing product at the center of the dish.

Nightlife, cocktail bars and Martina Bonci's drink list in 5 highly anticipated events

The highlight is sunset, celebrated by the ritual of the gong, which starts the entertainment, whether it is live music or DJ sets by the resident DJ or artists such as Pat Rich. The bar lady in addition to classic cocktails serves her signature drinks with the pairing of typical Sardinian products, from 6 PM for aperitif to after dinner until the wee hours.

But this year there are also cocktails by Martina Bonci, bartender at the Gucci Giardino bar in Florence and author of a summer drink list available during five highly anticipated special events. "The Cone Club is a relaxing place, open to everyone as any outlet in the resort. Here you can spend an entire day between the beach, the restaurant, sports and music. With no dress code.

At guests' service are also the little car for the trail through the Mediterranean scrub and the hookah service for those who want to smoke. Then on the pier, our kids take care of sports activities: jetski, flyboard, waterski, fliteboard, wakeboard, seascooter and wakersurf, canoe, waterbike, sofa or banana boat, also for children."
