If wine is your passion and the sea your refuge, get ready for an experience that combines these two wonders. Swan Hellenic, famous for its cultural cruises, has launched an itinerary dedicated to wine lovers: a nine-day crossing entitled Legacy of Wine: The Atlantic Voyage.

This exclusive wine adventure will depart May 12 from Lisbon, aboard the elegant SH Diana, a 192-passenger boutique ship, the Independent reports.

Wine lovers will have the opportunity to join Master of Wine Keith Isaac for guided vineyard tours, tastings and food pairings. Among the planned experiences are a delicious pairing of Galician wines and a tasting menu in La Coruna, a private tasting at Magalarte Vineyard in Bilbao, and the chance to enjoy oysters accompanied by a local white wine in Saint-Malo.

On board, the taste feast continues with a selection of Castelnau's cuvées, which includes a variety of brut and rosé champagnes. There will be no shortage of wine tastings from northern Spain and special pairings during meals, for an all-around gastronomic experience.

The package starts at £6,380 per person, a price that includes meals, most drinks, onboard lectures, six selected wine experiences ashore, standard wifi, gratuities and port taxes. In addition, until March 16, Swan Hellenic is offering an unmissable opportunity: the second passenger can travel at half price.

If you are looking for an even more intimate experience, Variety Cruises offers a cruise aboard the small ship Panorama, with only 49 passengers. The Wine Cruises of Greece, departing in September 2025, will take you to meet wine producers and visit vineyards in dream destinations such as Nemea, Santorini and Tinos, to discover all the secrets of Greek grapes. On board, each dinner will be accompanied by selected wines. Prices start at £4,130 per person.

And if the allure of rivers appeals to you, don't miss the river cruise offered by Viking, which offers tastings and tours during an eight-day voyage of discovery of the Bordeaux region of France, with prices starting at £2,495 per person, for a Nov. 9 departure.
