“Welcoming customers, making them feel at ease and at the center of a performance where every detail contributes to creating a small, great magic, is an art. Serving is an art” - this is Riccardo Andreoli.
Riccardo Andreoli, born in 1985, hails from Verona. His journey began at the Angelo Berti hotel institute, followed by the Italian Sommelier Association in Rome.
Subsequently, he worked in various roles in his city as commis de rang and chef de rang, before joining the Three MICHELIN-Starred “La Pergola” by Heinz Beck, where he stayed for 12 years, growing both personally and professionally.
Riccardo also honed his skills by visiting many restaurants and studying the dynamics of different dining rooms. At “Paul Bocuse” in Lyon, he observed the work of Monsieur Francois Pipalà: “I saw him portion a chicken in a bladder with such elegance, mastery, and savoir-faire that I will never forget it for my entire life”.
In 2020, driven by the fame of Ciccio Sultano and a love for Modica, he moved to Ragusa to lead first the dining room of “I Banchi” and now “Duomo”, becoming the Restaurant Manager. He believes that hospitality is made up of availability and rigor, of smiles and courtesy. This philosophy earned him the award for Best Maître 2022 by 50 Top Italy.
