As Bar Manager of the American Bar at Ceresio7, Abi El Attaoui has shaped one of Milan’s most influential cocktail destinations. Under his guidance, the bar has earned major international recognition, including a PIN from the Pinnacle Guide 2025, blending elegance, hospitality, and a refined approach to mixology.

Born in Morocco and raised in Italy from the age of five, El Attaoui grew up surrounded by new opportunities and a strong fascination for architecture, design and fashion. After studying as a surveyor, the world of food & beverage became a natural calling: first small bistros, then collaborations with major institutions such as 10 Corso Como, Hermitage, Bulgari and Armani. These experiences shaped his deep understanding of hospitality, particularly within luxury hotels.

The turning point came in 2013 with the opening of Ceresio7, which would become his professional home. There he refined his technique and sensitivity, moving from Chef de Rang to the counter of the American Bar. His progression was constant: Barman in 2015, Head Bartender in 2017, Bar Supervisor in 2019. In 2021, he took on the leadership of the bar as Bar Manager, becoming one of the most recognizable figures in Milan’s mixology scene.

The following years strengthened Ceresio7’s reputation: top 10 Bar Restaurants at Tales of the Cocktail Europe 2021/2022; inclusion in 50 Best Discovery in 2021; podium placements at Bar Awards 2021 and 2023 as Best Bar Team. Between 2021 and 2025, the bar climbed the Top 500 Bars ranking, reaching 53rd place in November 2025. In 2025, it earned 1 PIN in the prestigious Pinnacle Guide, confirming its global standing.

At the core of these achievements lies a philosophy built on elegance, precision and genuine conviviality. For El Attaoui, mixology is a language capable of expressing both technical depth and a sense of true hospitality—elements that define the identity of Ceresio7’s American Bar. His mission today is to preserve that character while guiding its evolution, ensuring the bar remains a central hub of Milanese and international social life.
