A superstar on the field, but also in the hospitality industry, Cristiano Ronaldo is looking for new professionals to join the staff of Pestana Plaza Mayor, his luxury hotel in Madrid. Opened in 2021, in a 1923 building with an investment of about 13 million euros, the Pestana Plaza Mayor houses 168 rooms spread over 10 floors, a pizzeria, a “sports bar,” a rooftop bar, and a swimming pool on the top floor. The job ad posted a few days ago seeks five professionals ranging from waiter, supervisor, receptionist, junior waiters, and concierge.
The requirements for submitting your resume? A high level of English (B2 or C1) and possess a Middle or Higher Vocational Training qualification. Successful candidates can earn up to €30,000 per year for the position of receptionist, €25,000 for that of junior waiter and bartender, and €23,000 for doorman.
After the stipulated trial period, explains The Olive Press on its website, permanent contracts may be entered into which, in addition to remuneration, will guarantee 40 hours per week divided into five days, followed by two consecutive days off; 50 days of vacation, private health insurance at the company's expense, restaurant vouchers, a 25 percent discount on restaurants and bars, and the possibility of holding one's own birthday party at the hotel are also provided.
