Shining Achievement for Four Seasons: The Luxury Hotel Chain Earns Acclaim from Michelin Guide, Expanding its Collection of Stars Across the Globe.
The news
The brightest constellation in the MICHELIN galaxy belongs to Four Seasons. The renowned luxury hotel chain, founded in 1960 in Toronto by Isadore Sharp, has earned an impressive 32 Michelin stars across its hotels' restaurants spread worldwide. Whether in Asia, America, or Europe, the elegance, luxury, and exclusivity of Four Seasons establishments remain faithful to the same philosophy: to offer refined, sophisticated, and top-quality cuisine, both in dishes and service.
To get an idea of the level achieved by the group, consider Four Seasons Hotel Hong Kong, which, thanks to the three stars awarded to the French restaurant Caprice and the Chinese restaurant Lung King Heen, along with the macarons from Sushi Saito and Noi, the Italian omakase led by Chef Paulo Airaudo Mantarro, boasts an impressive 8 Michelin stars on its own.
The hotel and resort chain, of which Cascade Investment - the investment company of tycoon Bill Gates - holds 71.5% since 2007, excels with its restaurants even in the Ville Lumière. Four Seasons Hotel George V in Paris has collected an impressive 5 stars (Le Cinq, with 3 stars, and Le George and L’Orangerie, with one each).
Even Italy has made its mark adding to the collection of Macarons awarded to Four Seasons' fine dining this year; a star was bestowed upon San Domenico Palace in Taormina, with Chef Massimo Mantarro leading the internal fine dining.
It's worth noting that Four Seasons restaurants, while belonging to the chain, are managed independently to best develop the concept of hospitality and culinary offerings. "These awards are the result of incredibly talented teams working for us in every corner of the globe," Kimberly Grant rightfully commented, Global Head of Restaurants at Four Seasons.
