Zaira Peracchia was the sommelier and restaurant director of 177 Toledo until July 2024, Giuseppe Iannotti's restaurant in Naples. She has built her career working in some of Italy's most prestigious starred restaurants such as Cannavacciuolo Bistrot and Villa Crespi, developing a deep passion for wine, and proposing a high-level wine experience to her guests, ranging from traditional labels to innovative choices.

Zaira Peracchia was born in 1996 in Piedmont, where she cultivated her passion for wine from a young age, inspired by the hills of the Langhe. After deciding to pursue a career in catering, she began working at important restaurants, including Cannavacciuolo Bistrot in Turin (1 Michelin star), Villa Crespi on Lake Orta (3 Michelin stars), and Antica Corona Reale in Cervere (2 Michelin stars). These experiences allowed her to hone her sommelier skills and develop a strong vision of dining room management.

In 2023, Zaira landed at 177 Toledo, a restaurant located in the heart of Naples, near the Gallerie d'Italia, under the guidance of Michelin-starred chef Giuseppe Iannotti. In a short time, the young woman becomes a reference point, proposing an accurate and innovative menu, which includes high quality labels, some 100% natural, as well as belgian beers, making each tasting unique.

Among the special awards in the Gambero Rosso's Guida Ristoranti d'Italia 2025, her name stands out; in fact, she was awarded the title of Best Sommelier, an award that consolidated her position.

Her approach is emotional and involving: for her, wine is an intimate journey to be shared with guests, a bit like her passion for motorbikes, which allows her to explore new roads and discover new emotions. Her personality and talent have allowed her to emerge on the Italian food and wine scene, and she continues to surprise diners with her never predictable choices.
