Simone Caporale achieved an international success at Artesian in London, and then he co-founded Sips in Barcelona, recognized by 50 Best as the world's best cocktail bar in 2023.
Originally from Como, Simone Caporale began his career in the hospitality industry at the age of 15, working in a lakeside café. In 2009 he moved to London with the aim of developing his bartending career. After a stint at Roast at the Borough Market, he joined the Artesian Bar at the Langham Hotel, where he and Alex Kratena transformed the venue into a global benchmark for mixology. Under their leadership, the Artesian was named "World's Best Bar" for four consecutive years, from 2012 to 2015.
In 2014, he was named "International Bartender of the Year" at the Spirited Awards, cementing his reputation in the field. He then dedicated himself to various projects, including the creation of "Drink's Atelier" in 2018, a company focused on the development of drinking-related initiatives.
In 2020, together with Marc Álvarez, he opened Sips in Barcelona, a venue that stands out for its innovative approach and focus on the customer experience, reaching the number one spot in the "World's 50 Best Bars" list in 2023.
He also took over Boadas Cocktails in 2022, with the aim of preserving its tradition and historical legacy. He collaborates with brands such as Amaro Santoni, for which he is Global Ambassador Partner, and participates in international events to share his vision for the industry.
