The Biography
Born in 1979 in Toledo, Iván Cerdeño developed a deep passion for cooking from a young age, inspired by his parents' restaurant, Tic-Tac in Mocetón. He honed his skills working with world-renowned chefs such as Pepe Rodríguez Rey (El Bohío), Koldo Rodero, and the Roca brothers. After earning his first Michelin star in 1993 while working at La Casa del Carmen, he continued to excel, receiving another star at Carmen de Montesión in 1994.
In 2019, Cerdeño opened Iván Cerdeño - Cigarral del Ángel in Toledo, situated on a historic estate along the banks of the Tajo River.
