Born in Afragola in 1984, Giuseppe Errichiello—known as Peppe—runs three Napoli sta ca’ pizzerias in Tokyo. He has collected nine consecutive “3 Spicchi” from Gambero Rosso and reached the No. 3 spot on 50 Top Pizza Asia‑Pacific 2024 with RistoPizza by Napoli sta ca’.

Raised in Afragola’s alleyways, Errichiello was already tending his uncle’s oven at age 12 and chose pizza as a career at 16.
In 2006 he moved to Tokyo; after five years of apprenticeships in local pizzerias and Italian‑product importers, he opened Pizzeria da Peppe Napoli sta ca’ – Kamiyachō in 2011. A second site followed in Komazawa (2015) along with an import‑export hub for Campanian flours and tomatoes.

In 2023 he launched RistoPizza by Napoli sta ca’, blending “contemporary pizza” with classic Neapolitan dishes. The venue debuted at No. 3 on 50 Top Pizza Asia‑Pacific 2024 and No. 89 worldwide.
