Born in 1993 on Lake Como, Andrea Casali is Executive Chef of Kitchen (Sheraton Lake Como). Trained by Enrico Crippa and Franco Caffara, he won his first Michelin star in 2021, confirmed through 2025.
After an internship with Enrico Crippa at three‑star Piazza Duomo, Casali spent seven years beside Franco Caffara at I Tigli in Theoria (Como), mastering low‑temperature cooking and a feel for lake fish.
In 2018 he joined Kitchen, set in the Sheraton’s botanical park: first as sous‑chef, then as the brigade’s “orchestra conductor.” His menu links Larian produce, garden herbs and Mediterranean nuances—think Perch Risotto with Citrus or Alpine Trout, Watercress & Genepì Beurre Blanc.
The Michelin Guide 2021 awarded the star for a “contemporary cuisine with clean flavours and respect for raw materials,” an honour renewed in subsequent editions.
