A successful chef, Cyril Molard trained with the greats to absorb knowledge and technique, which he has utilized in his Two MICHELIN-Starred restaurant "Ma Langue Sourit" in Luxembourg.
Cyril Molard began his career in 1994 at “Lapérouse” in Paris, then moved to “Claridges” in London. Returning to his homeland, he worked at “Le Flocon de sel” and “Le moulin de Lourmarin”. He has worked alongside some of the great names in gastronomy: André Lenormand in Orléans, Guy Krentzer in Paris, and Emmanuel Renaud in London and then in Megève, learning techniques and details that make a dish truly exceptional.
In 1998, Molard moved to Luxembourg, where he still lives today, to work at “La Lorraine” and then at the 5-star “Hôtel Le Royal,” where he remained for eight years. Additionally, he is a member of the Académie Culinaire de France and Disciple Escoffier.
Finally, in 2008, he established his own restaurant, "Ma Langue Sourit," in Luxembourg. In its first year, the restaurant earned a MICHELIN Star. It underwent renovation in November 2017, and the following year, it was awarded a second MICHELIN Star. Additionally, in the Gault&Millau guide, the restaurant scored 18.5 out of 20, the highest score ever achieved in Luxembourg. Cyril was also named Best Chef of the Year in 2020 by the same guide.
