Restaurants, karaoke rooms, bars, and members' clubs all in one location: a neo-liberty building in the Chinatown area that encompasses multiple experiences that merge into one remarkable journey.
House of Ronin
Four levels and different moods, but united by one purpose: to travel with taste and imagination to where Japanese and Italian cultures come together. No one feels foreign at Ronin. Dynamism, lights, ferment. Five years of study for the founders of Salva tu Alma group, Guillaume Desforges, Jacopo, and Leonardo Signani, with the result that is what they wanted: a Tokyo revival in one of Milan's most beaten-down areas.

The restaurants: Piccolo Ronin and Robata
Piccolo Ronin, on the ground floor, is the most dynamic space, and fun to spend an evening there. A fast-paced, transient place to eat small goodies from Japan and have drinks while enjoying music in the Listening Bar curated by Ultimo Tango. The Reba chicken liver skewers with furikake and yakitori sauce are out of this world. As well as the Tsukune, fantastic chicken meatballs with sesame and yakitori sauce. The gyoza and ramen are also not to miss.

On the other hand, if you want to taste something more elaborate in a quiet setting, sitting comfortably at a table or the robata counter, going up to the second floor is the right choice. Watching chef Gigi Nastri at work is a spectacle, a dance that begins with zensai (the appetizers) and closes with the beautiful dessert. Living fire, scorching ingredients, and rising scents reach the roots. It’s a journey through time, through space.

A real cooking experience that stays and, at times, amazes because, in such a "trendy" place, you don't expect to find so much quality and attention to culinary culture. Instead, the care is manic. The cooking experience surpasses any other; it is perfectly balanced to create an ascending climax, the curve of which ends sitting on the stools in front of the robata grill. Everything grilled is phenomenal: from tuna belly and turbot to squab with carrots and ginger. But there's more, too, like gohanmono (rice dishes) or kobachi (little bowls).

House of Ronin: the upstairs experience
On the second floor, one indulges in the rhythm of the night. Microphone in hand, screens, and music on, you forget who you are and let go of your body and mind by becoming a pop star for an evening. There are four private karaoke rooms, each with a different theme, but ready to welcome souls who want nothing more than to have fun and sing along. At the center of this space is a small hidden cocktail & sake bar serving drinks curated by bar manager Riccardo Speranza.

On the same floor, you’ll find the other side of Japanese ultra-traditionalism: Omakase Sushiyaki. It is a true boutique dinner experience of up to eight place settings that will launch in the project's second phase, with the official announcement of a Sushi Master directly from Tokyo. On the third floor is a ruthless Members Club – top secret, all to be discovered for those wanting to become members. Crediti Letizia Cigliutti
