Biography
Giulia Caffiero grew up in the kitchen of her parents, who were professional pasta makers, developing a profound passion for food. After completing her classical studies in high school in 2011, she began studying archaeology at the University of Cagliari. Concurrently, she worked at "Cucina.eat," where her passion for the culinary world re-emerged. In 2015, she moved to Milan to work at the restaurant "28 Posti" with Marco Ambrosino and Iris Romano, where she discovered her love for service. Her determination led her to further enhance her skills, working at the prestigious "Il Luogo di Aimo e Nadia" with Nicola Dell'Agnolo and Alberto Piras, who helped her grow professionally.
In 2019, Giulia decided to move to Copenhagen to work at Geranium, one of the world's most prestigious restaurants. Here, she learned the "Scandinavian method," which emphasizes respect for others and the importance of warm and welcoming service. At Geranium, Giulia developed a new passion for producing non-alcoholic pairings for dishes, known as "juice pairing." This innovative approach has allowed her to create a complete and inclusive culinary experience without the use of alcohol.
Giulia's hospitality philosophy is based on an approach that combines professionalism with human warmth, creating an environment where every guest feels special. Her dedication to excellence and her ability to innovate in the field of hospitality have helped make Geranium a benchmark for high-class dining.
