Head of dining room and wine cellar at Agli Amici dal 1887 in Godia, Michela Scarello oversees hospitality and the wine experience with elegance. A fifth-generation member of the family, she works alongside her brother Emanuele in leading a Michelin two-starred restaurant.
Michela Scarello represents the fifth generation of her family to run Agli Amici, a restaurant in Godia (Udine) that has been in business since 1887 and now boasts two Michelin stars.
Since the beginning of her career, Michela has chosen to focus on hospitality, front-of-house service and wine cellar management, elements she considers central to the dining experience. Her wine selection includes around 850 labels, with a particular focus on wines from Friuli Venezia Giulia and small producers, favouring a dynamic rotation that keeps the wine list fresh and up to date.
With over twenty years of experience, Michela has supported her brother Emanuele Scarello in the journey that has taken the restaurant from a family business to an international benchmark, with new openings in Italy and abroad. In 2023, she contributed to the launch of the Agli Amici Dopolavoro project at the JW Marriott Venice Resort & Spa, bringing the family's philosophy of hospitality and authenticity to Venice.
