Alexander Frezza is a major figure in the Italian mixology scene, known for his dedication to the art of bartending and for bringing Naples to the international mixed drinks scene.
Born in London in 1977 and raised in Naples, Alexander Frezza has been able to blend international influences with tradition, becoming a reference point in the cocktail world. In 2015, he co-founded L'Antiquario, a secret bar in the Chiaia district, known for its refined atmosphere and the quality of its drinks, true works of art.
His career in the hospitality industry began in 2007 with the founding of Bar in Movimento, a company that created the Bar in Movimento Academy, a training school for aspiring bartenders. In 2019, he expanded his presence in the industry with the opening of Platanos, with an exotic style that brings tiki culture to the Parthenopean heartland.
His passion and attention to detail have helped elevate his business, so much so that it has been included in the prestigious World's Best Bars list, debuting at the 82nd position in 2021, and reaching the 78th position in 2024. While its influence extends beyond national borders, it has participated in events such as the Roma Bar Show.
