Michele Pascarella began his journey in the world of pizza at a very young age, working in Caserta at the age of 11. After solidifying the basics and specializing in the neapolitan style, he moved to London in 2016 with the goal of spreading the true and inimitable wagon wheel. He first launched Napoli on the Road as a food truck in London markets, quickly gaining attention for the quality and originality of his product.
In 2019, he turned his van into a permanent restaurant in Chiswick, followed by a second location in Richmond. The establishments quickly became landmarks, with a proposition that respects tradition while exploring modern techniques and seasonal ingredients. Iconic dishes include the Childhood Memories, inspired by his mother's ragout, and the Cheesewick, a creative combination of Italian cheeses and Stilton.
International recognition came in 2023 when Pascarella was named Global Pizza Maker of the Year at the World 50 Top Pizza Awards, an honor that celebrates his ability to balance innovation and authenticity.
