Biography

Yann Couvreur began his culinary career after attending the Tecomah training center in Jouy-en-Josas, where he earned a CAP in patisserie. He initially worked at the Trianon Palace restaurant in Versailles, followed by a significant stint at Les Trois Marches, a two Michelin-starred restaurant. His training continued with experiences at prestigious hotels such as Eden Rock in Saint-Barthélemy and Le Burgundy in Paris.

In 2013, Yann Couvreur became the head pastry chef at the Hotel Prince de Galles in Paris, where he worked alongside Stéphanie Le Quellec. In 2016, he decided to open his first pastry shop in Paris, bringing his unique vision and attention to detail directly to consumers. Couvreur's philosophy is based on the use of fresh, seasonal, and natural ingredients, avoiding artificial colors and preservatives. His iconic dessert, the Madagascar vanilla cream mille-feuille, has become a hallmark of his patisserie, winning the Dessert of the Year award from the Lebey guide in 2014.

Yann Couvreur has opened several stores in Paris and other international cities, including Dubai and Miami. In addition to his pastry shops, he has published recipe books that reflect his passion for patisserie and his commitment to culinary excellence.
