Emer's journey into hospitality began with a part-time job at a local Italian restaurant while she was studying for a finance degree. Between lectures, Emer attended the 2016 Barolo release alongside Chiara Boschis. Inspired by Chiara’s ethos and mission, Emer shifted her focus from numbers to wine. Nearly a year later, Emer and her business partners opened Mosconi, a 50-seat restaurant and wine bar in the heart of James St, Brisbane, Australia.
Over the years, Emer honed her skills and expanded her knowledge by working alongside celebrated sommeliers and at prominent establishments. She eventually brought her talents to The Clove Club - where she has been awarded the IWC Restaurant Wine List of the Year 2024 in the Fine Dining category.
