A very young sommelier, Benoit Huguenin has talent to spare. Trained in numerous MICHELIN-starred restaurants, he helped Mauro Colagreco obtain the third Star for the "Mirazur" and now manages the many wine cellars of the restaurants located in "Kulm Hotel St. Moritz," including "The K by Mauro Colagreco," and "Grand Hotel Kronenhof Pontresina."

Born in 1995 and raised in Provence, Benoit knew from a young age what his future profession would be. At the age of 14, he enrolled at Lycée Voltaire, where he trained in sommelierie skills and began gaining experience through various internships. He entered the professional world at "Domaine Saint-Anne" in Saint Gervais, followed by the wine cellar of "Ballon Rouge" in Bagnols-sur-Cèze, and finally, the MICHELIN-starred restaurant "La Passagères" in Juan-les-Pins, under the guidance of sommelier Aymeric Verdy.

After earning his diploma, Benoit took on increasingly challenging roles, moving from one MICHELIN-starred restaurant to another. He started at the "Le Paloma" restaurant in Mougins, which had Two Stars at the time but is now permanently closed, and then joined the renowned "Mirazur," already a Two-Star establishment, in 2015.

During his first encounter with chef Mauro Colagreco, he realized that he needed to revolutionize the wine list, which was rich in excellent but very traditional French labels. Benoit modernized and expanded the restaurant's wine offerings with the aim of making each meal served truly special, and thanks in part to his efforts, the restaurant was awarded its third MICHELIN Star in 2019. This was a tremendous achievement for anyone, but even more so for a young professional like him.

Based in Menton until 2020, he remained loyal to the chef, continuing to work with him at "The K by Mauro Colagreco," the One MICHELIN-Starred restaurant located in "Kulm Hotel St. Moritz." Since June 2021, Benoit has been serving as a sommelier in the various restaurants within the hotel, also taking care of the wine cellars at "Grand Hotel Kronenhof Pontresina."

Thanks to his dedication and talent, Benoit continues to enhance the gourmet experiences of his guests.
