Rudy Travagli, an expert in the wine industry and a master of the dining room, has amassed years of experience working in the best Italian and international restaurants.

Born in Cervia in 1979 and a graduate of the Pellegrino Artusi Hotel Institute, Rudy Travagli initially aspired to become a bartender but later pursued studies in sommelier. He began participating in various competitions and at the age of 24 he joined the brigade of the renowned Three MICHELIN-Starred "Enoteca Pinchiorri" restaurant. Rudy spent three years working at this Florentine establishment, which he describes as a fantastic and fundamentally important experience for his professional growth. Already in 2005, Rudy received the prestigious "Innovation in the Profession" award from the Italian Sommelier Association.

Between 2008 and 2009, Rudy worked at Heston Blumenthal's Three MICHELIN-Starred restaurant "The Fat Duck" in London before returning to Italy, where he won the titles of "Best Sommelier of Romagna" in 2009 and "Best Sommelier of Italy" for Sangiovese in 2010. In 2012, he collaborated with Oscar Farinetti for the opening of Eataly in Rome and became part of the board of directors of the association Noi di Sala, which focuses on training young talents ready and motivated to face the challenges and sacrifices associated with dining room work. Travagli seeks to embody the values of the association, emphasizing a service that stands out for its cleanliness, organization, and welcoming approach to customers, firmly believing in the importance of dining room professions in the restaurant world. He believes that the kitchen and the dining room should go hand in hand, highlighting that to make a restaurant exceptional, teamwork is necessary, involving all those who contribute to the experience, not just the chef.

Since 2013, Rudy has been working within the "Enoteca La Torre" group, of which he has become a partner over time, embarking on an entrepreneurial career in the restaurant industry. Rudy is responsible for the dining service and wine selection in all branches of the enoteca. From the enoteca at the Rinascente in Piazza Fiume and "Villa Laetitia" in the Prati district of Rome, which has been awarded the "Best Dining Room" prize by Gambero Rosso and two Michelin stars, to catering for events and activities in Capalbio, including the country club "La Macchia," the beach club "La Dogana," and the "Glamping," a luxury camping site.

Looking to the future, Rudy maintains the desire to start a family of his own, acknowledging that reconciling this desire with his work life will not be an easy task.
