Chef Ferran Adrià unveils his latest creation: an exclusive stay at elBulli1846, in partnership with Airbnb.

For the first time ever, elBulli1846 opens its doors for a unique stay of art, history and culinary innovation, hosted by revolutionary chef Ferran Adrià. Two guests will be personally welcomed by the visionary chef and will be able to sleep in the former restaurant on a bed inspired by elBulli's famous spherical olive. This experience aims to inspire, excite and celebrate the space that kicked off culinary innovation and changed the world of gastronomy.
Ferran Adrià, the father of modern Western gastronomy and one of the world's most influential chefs, will therefore reopen elBulli1846 for a unique stay on Airbnb, during which guests will have the opportunity to sleep inside the former restaurant, a legendary place with breathtaking views of the Mediterranean, revered by refined palates around the world. Transformed into a museum, elBulli1846 is ready to welcome its first and only guests for a tasteful stay dedicated to the culinary revolution sparked by Ferran. They will have access to exclusive areas of the building and will sleep in a bed inspired by the cuisine and service style that distinguished the restaurant.

Now I'm excited to push new creative frontiers, to share this worldview with guests staying here, and to introduce them to our latest chapter: elBulli1846" - Ferran Adrià, an icon of gastronomic innovation, who will share with guests the legacy of his restaurant's revolutionary approach to haute cuisine.
The Stay
Ferran Adrià will host a free one-night stay for up to two people at elBulli1846, once home to the restaurant that saw the birth of 1846 iconic dishes, located in a bay on the northwest coast of Spain near Roses, Catalonia.
During their stay, guests will have the opportunity to:
- Meet Ferran personally and learn about the history of elBulli, from the prestigious legacy of his 3 Michelin stars to the indelible mark he has left on the history of world gastronomy.
- Gain access to the legendary space that started a culinary revolution, with visits to private rooms such as the "sanctuary of St. Stomach" in the "Chapel of the Pantry."
- Dine at one of Ferran's favorite restaurants in Roses.
- Spend a night in the former restaurant on a bed shaped like a plate, inspired by elBulli's famous spherical olive.
- Wake up the next morning to a breathtaking view of the sea from the terrace overlooking the Costa Brava beach.
But it doesn't end there! After checking out, guests will be treated to dinner at Enigma Restaurant in Barcelona, by head chef Albert Adrià, Ferran's brother and the second best chef in the world according to The Best Chef Awards.
How to book
This exclusive stay at elBulli1846 is available for one night, October 16-17, 2024. All foodies can submit a reservation request starting April 17 at 6 p.m. CEST at airbnb.com/elbulli1846. Guests are responsible for their own round trip from Roses, just 20 minutes from Cala Montjoi in Costa Brava, Spain. Once here, they will be dropped off at elBulli1846. The stay is for a maximum of two adults and includes dinners at other locations.
Those who are unable to book this exclusive stay are invited to visit the elBulli1846 museum Tuesday through Sunday, 10 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., from May 1st to October 12th, 2024 (hours for the 2024 summer season).
