Aurora Mazzucchelli grew up in a family of restaurateurs and, in 2000, she and her brother Massimo took over Ristorante Marconi, which their parents founded in 1983. Influenced by chefs like Gaetano Trovato, she developed an approach that combined modern techniques and local ingredients, earning her a Michelin star and making the restaurant a landmark. The restaurant has been named Casa Mazzucchelli in 2021.
Among her signature dishes is tortellini al Parmigiano Reggiano with lavender, an example of her research into the balance of flavors and creative use of aromas. Her cooking is defined as "protection," where Aurora preserves and enhances the ingredients in each dish. This approach reflects her desire to combine tradition and modernity, resulting in dishes that tell her story and her territory.
In 2016, she opened Forno Mollica, a bakery workshop where she offers products made with sourdough and organic flours, bringing his leavened goods closer to the local community. The bakery is an extension of her commitment: the offer includes bread, pizza and pastries designed for daily consumption, always maintaining a high attention to the quality of raw materials.
