Philippe Tayac

Philippe Tayac, a young pastry chef, is known for his combination of tradition and innovation. With extensive experience in some of the world's most prestigious hotels, Tayac opened his pastry shop in Nice, in the heart of the Carré d'Or, and revolutionized the pastry scene on the French Riviera.

Born in Nice to a French father and an Indonesian mother, Philippe Tayac began his career in the world of pastry at the age of 15, working in various luxury hotels such as the Cheval Blanc in Saint-Barthélemy and the Château Saint-Martin in Vence. His training, enriched by his experience in prestigious establishments, has allowed him to develop a creative and innovative approach, while remaining firmly rooted in French tradition.

In 2021, Philippe opened his first patisserie boutique in Nice, followed by two more locations in Cannes and the Cap 3000 mall. His iconic creations, such as Tarte Scrat and Millefeuille Gianduja Noisette, are prized for their perfect balance of aesthetics and taste. Her desserts combine high-quality ingredients, often inspired by her Indonesian roots, with an innovative twist that makes them unique. The Exotic Pavlova, for example, is one of his most iconic desserts, combining vanilla and cinnamon with impeccable aesthetics.

In 2024, Tayac opened its Salon de Thé in Cannes, offering a refined and luxurious experience, complemented by Sunday brunches and savory dishes, confirming its position as one of the leading players in the French pastry scene.
