Jamie Oliver

English, passionate about Italian cuisine and focused on the importance of the authenticity of ingredients used in cooking. Jamie Oliver is a chef of incredible success and renown, despite the failure of his restaurant chain in 2019.

Jamie Oliver, born on May 27, 1975, in Clavering, grew up working in his parents' pub. After enrolling in the Westminster Catering College, he began working at an Italian restaurant in London, run by Antonio Carluccio, where he first encountered Italian tradition and cuisine, a love that has lasted since the start of his career. Until 1999, Jamie trained in various restaurant kitchens, and then came a turning point.

He joined the British television world with the show “The Naked Chef,” becoming popular and skillfully using his fame to promote a namesake book that quickly became a bestseller. Jamie Oliver is the author of many books, including “The Naked Chef,” “Jamie's Kitchen,” “Jamie's Italy,” “Cook With Jamie: My Guide to Making You a Better Cook,” “Jamie's Ministry of Food: Anyone Can Learn to Cook in 24 Hours,” and “Jamie's America.”

Among Jamie's admirers was even Prime Minister Tony Blair, who for a time hired him as his personal chef. In a short time, the chef created a commercial empire by launching the “Jamie's Italian” restaurant chain, which included 28 locations worldwide. However, in 2019, the chain collapsed, and only 2 restaurants remain operational: one at Gatwick Airport and a diner in Soho, London.

The chef made his mark on Italian TV with the show “30 Minute Meals” and then its 15-minute alternative after the release of the book “15 Minute Meals.” In 2011, “Jamie's Great Italian Escape” captivated viewers in Italy. Now, Jamie runs a blog occasionally featuring his five children with his wife Julia Norton.

Oliver's cuisine is not only inspired by Italian traditions but is also deeply imprinted with values of authenticity and healthiness of food. The chef is engaged in a campaign promoting the use of healthy and quality ingredients, advanced through a tour of English schools and canteens.
In 2022, Jamie launched a food delivery service, “Pasta Dreams,” but now, he is focused on opening his new restaurant in London, “Jamie Oliver Catherine Street”, where he serves regional pub cuisine, using short supply chain ingredients sourced through close collaborations with local producers.
