An artisan gelato maker and entrepreneur from the Brescia area, Oscar Nassa is the founder of Lapecoranera, a brand born in Rezzato and grown into a structured network across Brescia and its province (with a presence also in Verona) and an initial development in China. His signature comes from a restaurant-driven mindset: carefully selected ingredients, classic craft, and flavours designed to go beyond the predictable.

Born in 1970, Oscar Nassa took his first professional steps in the mid-1990s in his family’s restaurant in Rezzato, where he was in charge of desserts and gelato production, and in 2002 he opened the first Lapecoranera gelateria, setting a clear identity from the start: alongside classic flavours, he introduced experiments that were still uncommon in gelato counters at the time—spices, infused notes and even savoury, “gastronomic” ideas featuring cheeses—built on a craft approach shaped by his experience in hospitality; over the years, the brand expanded progressively, also thanks to collaborators who joined the project as affiliated entrepreneurs, while maintaining the same production philosophy focused on raw materials, standardised processes and periodic checks across stores to ensure consistent quality and brand identity; alongside growth in Italy, Nassa launched an international development plan and a project in China, where the brand is already present with three operating stores, a first step towards a more structured presence in the Asian market; in parallel with production, he has always invested in brand communication, managed in a coherent and professional way, and today he leads Lapecoranera together with his daughter Chiara, strengthening an entrepreneurial model that combines organisation, identity and continuity.
