Antonio Arcieri masterfully runs the Arco by Paco Pérez restaurant in Gdansk, Poland. His cuisine, which blends Mediterranean flavors with local influences, has won prestigious awards, including a Michelin star in 2024.
Born in Lamezia Terme in 1988, Antonio Arcieri developed a passion for cooking at an early age, inspired by his mother. After studying at the Institute of Hotel Management in Varese, he embarked on a career path that took him to Spain, where he honed his skills under the guidance of world-renowned chefs.
In 2007, he began working at the Miramar in Llançà, Girona, under the direction of Paco Pérez, becoming his close collaborator. He enriched his experience with internships in prestigious restaurants such as Ferran Adrià's El Bulli and Eneko Atxa's Azurmendi.
In 2019, at Paco Pérez's invitation, Arcieri took the helm of Arco by Paco Pérez in Gdansk, located on the 33rd floor of the Olivia Star tower, the tallest in northern Poland. Here he developed a cuisine that combined Italian and Spanish traditions with Polish ingredients and influences to create a unique dining experience. The place quickly gained fame, culminating in the award of a Michelin star in 2024.
In addition to Arco, Antonio oversees the bistro Treinta y Tres, also in the same location, which has earned Bib Gourmand recognition for the excellent value of its tapas-inspired offerings.
Arcieri's philosophy is based on the harmonious combination of Mediterranean flavors and local produce, with a focus on sustainability and seasonality of raw materials.
In November 2024, he was included among the 97 chefs awarded A Knife at The Best Chef Award in Dubai.
