Italian master pastry chef Giuseppe Manilia, with his atelier in Montesano sulla Marcellana, is a reference point for lovers of sweet creations.

Originally from Montesano sulla Marcellana, in the province of Salerno, Giuseppe Manilia began his career as a self-taught pastry chef, driven by an innate passion. Over time, he has honed his skills, drawing inspiration from the French school, renowned for its rigour and quality, and integrating these influences with the Italian tradition.
His dedication and constant commitment have earned him numerous awards. In 2012, he won the award for the Best Hazelnut Cake in the World, an achievement that consolidated his reputation on the international scene.
In 2017, during the XXIII Public Symposium of the Academy of Italian Master Pastry Chefs (AMPI), he was awarded the title of Pastry Chef of the Year, a recognition that rewards commitment and perseverance in the pursuit of professional excellence; on the other hand, his establishment received the Three Cakes in the Gambero Rosso's Pastry Chefs & Pastry Shops guide. While in 2021 he was awarded one of the Best Pastry Chefs in the World by Iginio Massari, during the Host Fair in Milan.
In addition to his work in the laboratory, Manilia teaches at prestigious culinary schools, sharing his experience with the younger generation.
