Clemens Rambichler is a prominent chef on the european gastronomic scene. His career, marked by dedication and talent, led him to head the three-Michelin-starred restaurant at the Waldhotel Sonnora.

Born in 1988 in Bad Reichenhall, Germany, Clemens Rambichler began his professional training in 2005 at the age of 16 at the Intercontinental Resort in Berchtesgaden, now known as the Kempinski Hotel. There, under the guidance of experts, he developed his skills and learned the importance of quality ingredients and technical precision.
In 2011, he joined the team at the Waldhotel Sonnora in Dreis, working alongside the legendary Helmut Thieltges. During this time, he further honed his skills and absorbed the culinary philosophy that made the eatery a benchmark in german gastronomy.
After Thieltges passed away in 2017, Clemens took over. Under his leadership, the restaurant has maintained its three Michelin stars, confirming the culinary excellence that sets it apart. His creations are characterized by the unmistakable interplay of flavors, harmonious combinations and a craftsmanship that enhances the value of the raw material.
In 2021, Rambichler and his partner, Magdalena Brandstätter, acquired ownership of the Waldhotel Sonnora, ushering in a new era. The couple invests heavily in the property, making improvements that further enhance its reputation.
Throughout his career, Rambichler has received numerous awards, including the title of "Koch des Jahres" (Chef of the Year) in Germany.
