Bastien Blanc-Tailleur has changed the art of decorative pastry with his monumental and refined creations. Recognized as the world's most creative Chef Pâtissier by the prestigious guide La Liste 2024, he is famous for his luxurious wedding cakes inspired by architecture and haute couture, which have made him a global benchmark in the industry.
Born in Annecy, in the Haute-Savoie region of France, Bastien Blanc-Tailleur developed an interest in pastry-making at an early age. His professional career began in Deauville, where he took his first steps. He then continued his training in cities such as Toulouse, participating in competitions that allowed him to develop the precision and rigor necessary to excel in the field.
Over the years, he has held prestigious positions in some of the finest restaurants in Paris, including the Carette tea room, the three-Michelin-starred Pavillon Ledoyen, and the Four Seasons Hotel George V. In these fine dining environments, he began to experiment, gradually specializing in wedding cakes.
In 2015, he opened his own studio in the Ville Lumière, dedicated to bespoke creations for luxury events, with a particular focus on weddings. These are not simple desserts, but true works of art, made with selected ingredients such as Charentes butter and Tahitian vanilla. Customization is at the heart of his approach, with each decoration designed specifically for each client, from Europe to the Middle East.
In 2024, he was honored as "World's Most Creative Pastry Chef" by La Liste. In addition to his business, Bastien is also a passionate teacher, he trains new talents around the world through master classes at various schools and international fairs, where he shares his techniques and expertise.
