Biography
Growing up in Italy, Alessio Pirozzi nurtured a dream from his early years: to become a chef. His inspiration originated from watching his grandmother cook, savoring dishes that spoke of tradition and love. His initiation into professional cooking took place in the kitchens of the prestigious Villa Santa Maria culinary school, a landmark in culinary training.
His career soared in the Dolomites at Mirage and Cristallo in Cortina, and then reached new heights alongside Norbert Niederkofler at St. Hubertus. It was here that Pirozzi discovered the charm and challenge of Michelin-starred restaurants. After refining his culinary skills, his journey took him to new frontiers in Spain, the United Kingdom, and eventually Beijing, at the Four Seasons' Mio, where as a chef he helped maintain the Michelin star.
Today, Alessio Pirozzi successfully cultivates and practices his culinary art in Dubai, as the Chef de Cuisine at Torno Subito. His arrival marks a new chapter for the restaurant, while continuing to honor the concept of excellence that defines it.
