Biography

Born in 1986 in Trani, Puglia, Davide Franco developed a passion for the world of hospitality from a young age, which led him to pursue a career in the industry. His professional training began in his hometown, where he learned the importance of welcoming and impeccable service.

His career took him to work at some of the most prestigious restaurants in Italy and Europe. He gained significant experience at Villa Feltrinelli in Gargnano, Trussardi alla Scala in Milan, and notable establishments in London such as Dinner by Heston Blumenthal, Marcus Wareing, and Core by Clare Smyth. These experiences honed his skills in managing dining room service with elegance and precision.

In 2022, Davide Franco took on the role of Restaurant Manager at Piazza Duomo in Alba, a venue that boasts three Michelin stars under the leadership of chef Enrico Crippa. In this role, Davide ensures that every guest receives impeccable service, combining professionalism with a warm human touch. His attention to detail and ability to anticipate guests' needs make every visit to Piazza Duomo an unforgettable experience.

Davide works closely with Enrico Crippa and the kitchen team to ensure that the dining service is perfectly synchronized with the restaurant’s culinary offerings. His philosophy is centered on creating a welcoming and refined atmosphere where guests can feel comfortable and fully appreciate the restaurant's dishes.

Beyond his daily work, Davide is committed to training the next generation of hospitality professionals. He shares his experience and knowledge with young aspiring maître d's, imparting the importance of dedication, courtesy, and attention to detail.
