Born in Catanzaro, Mirko Cicco discovered his passion for dough as a child, influenced by his grandfather, a well-known pastry chef in the city. The art of kneading and the scent of bread and desserts accompanied him from an early age, leaving a mark that would become the foundation of his career.
Over the years, his focus shifted from pastry to pizza. After gaining experience and refining his vision of quality, he opened his first pizza-by-the-slice shop in the center of Catanzaro: a small venue, yet filled with passion and dedication, marking the first step of a growing journey.
His desire to evolve and expand his project led to the creation of Mirko Cicco Pizzeria, his current establishment, where he expresses his philosophy: a straightforward cuisine that highlights fresh, carefully selected local products.
