Hiroki Odo is an internationally renowned Japanese chef known for his mastery of contemporary kaiseki cuisine. As the owner of Odo's restaurant in New York's Flatiron district, he has received two Michelin stars and other prestigious awards. His career has been marked by a deep respect for tradition combined with an innovative modern interpretation.

Originally from Japan, Hiroki Odo began his culinary career at home, where he developed a solid foundation in the traditional techniques. His dedication and talent led him to New York, where he took over as executive chef at Kajitsu, introducing authentic shōjin cuisine to the United States. During his tenure, the latter was awarded a Michelin star.

In 2018, he embarked on a new chapter by opening his own business, odo, located at 17 West 20th Street in the heart of Manhattan. The restaurant offers a kaiseki omakase experience that blends Japanese elements with contemporary influences, resulting in a seasonal menu that reflects his culinary philosophy.

Since opening, the eatery has received numerous awards. In 2020, it was awarded its first Michelin star in its first year of eligibility. Subsequently, in 2023 and 2024, it was awarded two Michelin stars for two consecutive years, testifying to the excellence and consistency of Odo's cuisine.

During the pandemic, launched Sushi Muse, a high-end sushi delivery service-an initiative that demonstrated his ability to adapt to challenges and innovate in the industry.

In 2021, he expanded his creative vision by opening THE GALLERY, an exhibition space in the Flatiron District dedicated to rotating exhibitions. This project aims to bridge communities and reflects Hiroki's commitment to promoting art in all its forms.
