Enzo Coccia is one of the world's most celebrated ambassadors of Neapolitan pizza. Founder of the famous Pizzaria La Notizia, he has transformed a popular food into a symbol of high gastronomy.

Born in 1962 in the Duchesca district, Enzo Coccia grew up in the family pizzeria, where his father, Antonio, taught him not only the technique but also the value of work and the importance of quality ingredients.

In 1994 he decided to go out on his own and opened the Pizzaria La Notizia in Via Michelangelo da Caravaggio in Naples. From the beginning, Enzo decided to stand out and use only the highest value raw materials, choosing local and DOP products. 

In 2010 he opened La Notizia 94, a second location that represents his evolutionary vision. Here, in an elegant setting, he offers creative pairings and a careful selection of wines and craft beers. His philosophy is clear: every pizza must tell a story linked to the territory and its authentic flavors.

Coccia played a key role in the recognition of Neapolitan pizza as a Traditional Specialty Guaranteed by the European Union in 2009. He also founded Pizza Consulting, a company dedicated to training and consulting. Throughout his career, he has received numerous awards, including a Lifetime Achievement Award from 50 Top Pizza in 2022.

In addition to being a master pizza maker, he is also a trainer and cultural ambassador. He participates in international events, teaches classes, and collaborates with celebrity chefs to explore new frontiers of flavor while maintaining a strong connection to tradition.
