Ciro Cristiano is a chef and entrepreneur who has brought authentic italian cuisine to the heart of Madrid. With a career that began in the kitchens of Paris and culminated in the opening of his own restaurants in the spanish capital, now serves more than 7,000 customers a week and he collects accolades.

The youngest of six children, Ciro Cristiano was born in the neighborhood of San Giovanni a Teduccio, on the eastern outskirts of Naples, and grew up in a family linked to the restaurant business; his father is a pastry chef. After completing his studies at the hotel institute, he moved to Paris at the age of 18, where he began working in a prestigious hotel near Place Vendôme. This experience, which was supposed to last six months, lasted for 12 years, during which he honed his culinary and management skills.

In Paris, Cristiano became the first employee of the Big Mamma group, known for its Italian restaurants in Europe. As executive chef, he contributed to the expansion of the group, managing restaurants such as Ober Mamma and East Mamma, which enjoyed great success.

In 2022, Ciro decided to start his own business in Madrid. He opens Baldoria, a restaurant-pizzeria in the Salamanca neighborhood that aims to offer an authentic italian experience. It stands out for its festive atmosphere, inspired by italian piazzas, and its focus on quality ingredients. Baldoria quickly gained recognition and was ranked among the best pizzerias by 50 Top Pizza: fifth in Europe and 26th in the world in 2024. At the same time, it launched Beata Pasta, a brand dedicated to fresh pasta, with two locations in Madrid.

In its activities, every detail is taken care of, combining good food, a lively atmosphere and impeccable service. The in-house production of raw materials ensures high quality standards and contributes to its great success.
