Two delicious creations celebrate the opening of Cédric Grolet's new Parisian venue. It will be the first with a focused coffee concept.
The News
Cédric Grolet's sweet and sophisticated empire expands. After "Le Meurice Cédric Grolet" and "Cédric Grolet Opéra" in Paris and "Cédric Grolet at The Berkeley" in London, a pastry shop inside the "COMO Metropolitan" hotel in Singapore, and a venue in Courchevel, it's time for "Cédric Grolet Café," the talented and visionary Maître pâtissier's third Parisian location, this time with a focus on coffee.
At 6 rue Danielle Casanova, the world-famous French pastry chef presents his very personal vision of coffee. "With the opening of this new store, I am happy to propose a concept with creations that will evolve in five slots throughout the seasons, just like my already known 'collections'," he tells the press, who often describes him as a "dessert stylist."
At the new Parisian location bearing Grolet's name - which also serves as a takeaway point for orders placed on the website - you can enjoy hot and cold drinks, from the classic Flat White to the more original Milk Punch. Carefully selected beans from Ethiopia to Brazil delight coffee lovers from all over the world, who have flocked in droves to discover Grolet's latest adventure.
At Cédric Grolet Café, of course, the delicious creations of the famous pastry chef can always be found, but what intrigues visitors and the entire web are the two new entries designed for the occasion: cronuts (€5 each), covered with a veil of sugar and filled with vanilla or hazelnut cream, and "cookie-pizzas," available by the slice or in XXL format for the most indulgent.
The latter are already offered "divided" into 8 slices in a box similar to the usual pizza one (cost, €35). The toppings? Peanuts, pistachios, hazelnuts, and chocolate. For drinks, the cost ranges from €3 to €7, depending on the type and size chosen. Even at 6 rue Danielle Casanova, Grolet makes both young and old, aesthetes and gourmands dream!
