Valerio Trentani

Valerio Trentani has gained experience in prestigious restaurants, becoming a skilled professional and a motivated maître. He now showcases his talent at “L'Alchimia”, a MICHELIN-Starred restaurant in Milan.

Valerio Trentani is part of a new generation that looks to the future of the restaurant world. Among his great passions is mixology, which Trentani incorporates into his profession as a maître.

Valerio approached the world of gastronomy from a young age. He graduated from the Ballerini Hotel Institute in Seregno with a qualification in cooking. In 2014, he completed two courses at A.I.B.E.S., as a restaurant & bar manager and barman. Driven by a strong passion, after completing his studies, he began various working experiences in important gourmet restaurants.

He worked for several hotel chains, including "NH Hotels", "Radisson", and "Melia". These were just the beginning of a rich educational pilgrimage. In 2008, he was at the two-starred "Terraza del Casino de Madrid by Paco Roncero" in Madrid. This was followed by an experience at the "Marcus Wareing Restaurant" in London, awarded Two MICHELIN Stars, in 2010.

From 2015 to 2017, he remained at "Seta by Antonio Guida" in Milan, also with Two MICHELIN Stars. The turning point came in 2018 with the restaurant "L'Alchimia" in Milan, awarded One MICHELIN Star. Here, he began an important work partnership with Alberto Tasinato. A fruitful collaboration that continues to this day.

For Valerio, the experience at "L'Alchimia", together with that at "Seta", represent two important pieces of his training. As he himself said, "Participating in the opening of the Mandarin Oriental and taking Two MICHELIN Stars in two years was an important milestone. But participating in the opening of 'L'Alchimia' as a director and receiving a star in a year and a half was an unparalleled experience."
