Claire Sonnet is the Director of Dining at the renowned restaurant Le Louis XV - Alain Ducasse à l'Hôtel de Paris in Monaco. Born in 1984 in Clamart, France, Claire Sonnet initially studied psychology and graduated with a degree in that field. While at university, she discovered her true passion by working part-time in a restaurant, an experience that led her to redirect her career towards the hospitality industry.
So she attended the prestigious Ferrandi School in Paris, where she honed her skills. In 2011, she began working at Restaurant Alain Ducasse au Plaza Athénée, where she collaborated with Denis Courtiade, an experience that allowed her to deepen her understanding of the dynamics of haute cuisine.
In 2017, Claire was appointed director of L'Écrin at the Hôtel de Crillon in Paris, working alongside chef Christopher Hache. This position gave her the opportunity to further develop her leadership and people management skills.
In 2018, she took on the role of director of dining at the prestigious Le Louis XV - Alain Ducasse à l'Hôtel de Paris in Monaco, a three-Michelin-starred establishment. In this role, she continued to promote service excellence, focusing on customer care and creating a memorable experience.
Her commitment and dedication were recognized in 2023 when she was awarded the Prix du Service en Salle by the Michelin Guide.
