The Biography
Born in the heart of Boza, Sardinia, Marco Marras began his culinary path with training at the Alghero Hotel Institute, followed by many work experiences. These have allowed him to explore various culinary cultures, from Portofino and Madonna di Campiglio to Geneva, Elba Island, Cala di Volpe, Miami, and Hawaii. Each stage of his journey enriches his palette of flavors and techniques.
Since 2021, Marras has masterfully led the kitchens of the Restaurant Oseleta at Villa Cordevigo Wine Relais, a five-star luxury oasis in Cavaion Veronese, near Lake Garda. His culinary style, defined by him as a mélange of memories and innovations, brings to the table a perfect balance of Mediterranean flavors and local tastes, enriched with Oriental influences.
In this ancient Venetian villa, Marras expresses his vision of cuisine: an art that celebrates the authenticity of local products and the diversity of his experiences, creating dishes that tell stories. His menu is a sensory exploration, where the harmony of Sardinian flavors blends with the seasonal products of the Veneto region.
In 2022, Marras realized the garden of Villa Cordevigo, a project that testifies to his commitment to sustainability and the valorization of local raw materials. This concrete gesture symbolizes his philosophy: uniting the biodiversity of Sardinia and Veneto in the creation of dishes that reflect his culinary identity and respect for the territory.
