Alessandro Borghese, passionate about cooking from a young age and born to an actress and an entrepreneur, has become a renowned chef, TV personality, and owner of restaurants and commercial companies, utilizing all his vocations.
Alessandro Borghese, born in 1976, grew up with his younger brother in San Francisco, where his parents lived: his mother, the actress Barbara Bouchet, and his father, Luigi Borghese, an entrepreneur of Neapolitan origin.
Alessandro attended the American Overseas School of Rome and then worked for three years on cruise ships, but he didn't stop moving after that. He has accumulated experiences in London, San Francisco, Paris, and Copenhagen.
Then came his time in Italy, where he attended a course to become a sommelier and worked for a while in Rome and Milan. In 2005, he made his debut on television, achieving success as the host of the show "Cortesie per gli ospiti," and later as a judge on "Junior Masterchef Italia." In 2010, Alessandro founded AB Normal srl – Eatertainment Company, which deals with consulting and advertising in the food sector; in the field of banqueting, catering, and event organization, the company operates as Alessandro Borghese - Il lusso della semplicità. Moreover, AB Normal srl has begun to develop various television formats that air not only in Italy but also abroad. Among all the programs Alessandro has participated in, some notable ones are "Alessandro Borghese - 4 ristoranti," "Alessandro Borghese Kitchen Sound," "Cuochi d’Italia," "Piatto ricco," and "Game of Talents." The company currently sees Alessandro's wife and mother of their two daughters in the role of CEO and commercial director.
In 2017, the chef opened his own restaurant in Milan, "Alessandro Borghese - Il lusso della semplicità," where the goal is to convey emotions through his dishes and ensure that his guests leave the place happy and satisfied.
The chef also started, again in Milan, an artisan pasta factory: "Pasta fresca - The Luxury of Simplicity." Alessandro is also the author of several cookbooks, including "kitchen sound," "cacioepepe," and "l’abito non fa il cuoco."
