His story starts in South Africa, the Musk brothers' homeland. After training at the French Culinary Institute of New York, Kimbal went into business with Elon in 2000 and then began investing in gastronomy to cultivate his passions. Thus, he now stands out in first place among the food fortunes.

In 2001, he decided to volunteer to cook for the fire department with the intention of helping out after the 9/11 attack. The chef then opened his first restaurant, a community Bistro in 2004. Finally, Musk Jr. became a member of Chipotle's board of directors between 2013 and 2019, and currently heads a restaurant group, The Kitchen Restaurant Group.
